At least Pvt. Manning's charges inform us of one very important thing, since he is charged with 'aiding the enemy' we can now know without a doubt that the government considers the citizens of the United States to be the enemy since it was we the people that were aided in finding out about the crimes of the government that they did not want us to know about. Thankfully their was one person couragious enough to blow the whistle instead of remaining safe and be complisit in those crimes by remaining silent.
